Purpose

As an artist, I want to share my creativity with the world. My very first virtual art gallery serves several purposes, leveraging digital technology to provide an accessible, immersive, and interactive experience for both artists and audiences. With the help of Artsteps.com, my VR gallery allows people from around the world to access and view my art without needing to physically visit a location. This democratizes art appreciation, making it available to a broader audience regardless of geographical constraints. Additionally, this interactive experience includes elements such as 360-degree views, detailed zoom-in features, and multimedia components like videos and AI voiceovers. I am thrilled to showcase my work, enhance the visitor experience, and provide deeper insight into my artwork

Process & Tools

During my Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology program at the University of San Diego, I was first introduced to VR experiences. During this course, I designed, developed, and showcased my first-ever VR Art Gallery. I was so excited about this project because I love painting landscapes and enjoy taking pictures wherever I go. I wanted to showcase my favorite topic: Alaska. I have been fortunate to travel to Alaska many times for work, leisure, and vacations with friends. This project allowed me to share my passion for art, the Last Frontier, and technology. Alaska's breathtaking landscapes, from towering glaciers to pristine forests, inspire a deep sense of awe and adventure. The state's rugged wilderness and abundant wildlife offer endless opportunities for exploration and creativity. Alaska's serene, untouched beauty encourages introspection and a profound connection with nature.

Outcome
